a). Admission process shall be made through Postgraduate Medical Center, PUMHS Nawabshah in the courses which meet recognition criteria of PMDC.

b). Applicant candidates will have to appear in written test before the admission. The final Selection will be on the merit, the cumulated marks of entry test result and additional marks will be as under;

i). Rura/service 02 marks peryear (Maximum 10 marks)

ii). Position in MBBS 01 marksperposition perprofessiona/year.

iii). Extra qua/i/ication 02 marksperqua/i/ication.

iv). Publication in the medica/journal 02 marks for first three authors and 01 markotherthen the firstthree authors.

c). In case more than one candidate secures equal marks, will be decided on meritof final professional examination. If still there is equal statusl marks then the preference will be given to the older age candidate.

d). The PGMC will formulate the details of procedure, format and schedule of written test.

e). After selection to a program, private candidate shall report for admission to the PGMC within 01 month, If they fail to do so within this period, their selection shall stand cancelled.

f). In-service candidates will have to obtain permission/study leave/deputation from the employer and shall be relieved from their parent departments linstitute before joining the course within 03 months. If they failed to do so within this period, their

selection shall stand cancelled.

g). The final selection list of all successful candidates admitted in various postgraduate courses will be finilized the Director Postgraduate Medical Centre PUMHS Nawabshah.

ENROLMENT

Each Postgraduate student so selected shall be required for enrolment through the office of the Registrar; PUMHS, Nawabshah within one month from the date of issuance of admission notification and depositing prescribed fee, failing which the admission of the selected PG candidate shall be deemed as cancelled.

PMDC REGISTRATION

It is necessary for every Postgraduate trainee to register himself as a Postgraduate student with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council, Islamabad, within three months of admissions to the course.
