Associate Professor / Chairman
Neurology Department of Peoples' University Hospital is functioning at the Medical Unit II. Neurology cover is provided for all kind of neurological emergencies as well as for acute and chronic disease. Regular neurology lectures and teaching rounds are carried out for final year students. PGs for MD and FCPS courses in Medicine are also rotated for 3 months. Seminar and case conference are held on weekly basis.
Specialized investigating tools including CT Scan and EEG facilities are available. In future MRI, Nerve conduction studies, EMG facilities are also being planned. A seperate neurology department is on the card and the same would be established as soon formalities in this regard are completed.
